Our presentation went well. We described the clip with depth, looking at every element such as diegetic and non diegetic sound. We chose Scott Pilgrim vs Roxy Richter because it has a lot of different SFX, which makes it really interesting to watch. We could have said a lot more about the clip to get a higher grade but overall I thought we did really well and tried to use as many words from the glossary as we could.
Making the presentation was easy, we always get on and do it straight away and try to get as much information in to it but left some out so we can talk about it without reading it off the screen. Which looks better then reading it word for word.
I have learnt a few different terms for different sounds within a scene/film. And how that a lot of the sounds we hear in films aren't even real, either put in during editing or pre recorded and dubbed in to the right places.
